 Watch the two short videos Is Wikipedia a Credible Source? and The Word: Wikiality, and  read Wikipedia: Academic use. All three sources agree that Wikipedia is not a reliable destination for the truth, but that it may have its uses. Describe occasions when you typically use Wikipedia. Is there anything wrong with using Wikipedia to jump-start a research project?
 

Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts by Day 7. Each response should be at least 125 words long. Consider other sources that might be as easy to access but more reliable.
