As a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in …………….. , factor analysis is used to help business owners maximize profit by helping with production output to increase revenue. For example, a study was found that is related to advanced accounting. This study used exploratory factor analysis to identify dimensions for non-banking financial institutions due to the dimensions that cause non-performing assets (Rajeev & Subramoniam, 2017). The purpose of the study is to verify the factors that are causing the non-performing assets to happen. The exploratory factor analysis and a questionnaire were used to find the causing factors. Based on the analysis findings, three components were found to be the factor. These three components were “professional incapability of the borrower in running the firm, borrower nature in wilful default and his/her influential nature on the financial institution and government, and weak internal policy of the firm or external environment which aid non-repayment of loan” (Rajeev & Subramoniam, 2017). The exploratory factor analysis helped the researcher come up with a solution that will help non-banking financial institutions control non-performing assets and become profitable going forward.

Submission FeedbackOverall Feedback

I think your resume and cover letter look very professional – you’ve used a mostly consistent layout, font, margins, etc. and you have some impressive experience working for a large financial institution – but you have not customized your cover letter or resume to the position you chose or the program you’re in. For example, outside of referring to the job title, there’s no mention of payroll, sick leave or any of the major keywords/phrases from the job posting. You also don’t refer to any HR-specific knowledge or interest and a good portion of your cover letter is from a searchable template online.

Please choose a new job posting for a co-op/internship position, consider why you are interested in it, how you are qualified in and then write a resume and cover letter that are customized/tailored to that position. You will need to score above a 70% to pass this assignment and course

[100% Unique Papers] How is America addressing the COVID-19?

[100% Unique Papers] How is America addressing the COVID-19?

The U.S. is in the midst of one of the world’s most challenging pandemics. Few have been unaffected by this virus, professionally, socially, and economically. We have lost more Americans to this virus than some of our wars, even when added together. We are in an economic recession, facing a depression. Warding off mental health issues has been a challenge.

What has been our response to this crisis? Have we met the challenge the way any modern, experienced public health system should? How are other nations doing? Have we done as we have so many times before with H1N1, HIV, and Ebola to mitigate spread and damage by this Covid-19 threat?

Assess our situation. Review our systems, organizations, and ourselves. How did generations before you manage the war years? WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Mideast? How was earlier pandemics managed? The Great Depression? Some of these events went on for years. This virus has been here for only months and some seem unable to even wear a mask or avoid large gatherings. What if we had that attitude during WWII when rationing was in effect? What is our future? What have we done right? Where could we have done more or better? Where are our successes? Failures? What can we and should we be doing now?  Earn points by posting or commenting on others at least three times, initiating your own post at least once.

Holmes Corporation manufactures electronic components for use in many consumer products. Their raw materials are purchased literally from all over the world. Depending on the country involved, purchase terms vary widely. Some suppliers, for example, require full prepayment, while others are content to receive payment within six months of receipt of the goods. Because of this situation, Holmes never closes its books until at least ten days after month end. In this way, it can sort out ownership of goods in transit, and document which goods were received by month end, and which were not. Manya Andre, a new accountant, was asked to record about $70,000 in inventory as having been received before month end. She argued that the shipping documents clearly showed that the goods were actually received on the 8th of the current month. Her boss, busy with month-end reports, curtly tells Ann to check the shipping terms. She did so, and found the notation “FOB shipper’s dock” on the document. She hadn’t seen that particular notation before, but she reasoned that if the selling company considered it shipped when it reached their dock, Holmes should consider it received when it reached Holmes’s dock. She did not record the purchase until after month end.  To receive full credit, answer both:

  • Why are accountants concerned with the timing in the recording of purchases?
  • Was there a violation of ethical standards here? Explain.
